I STAYED AT THIS LOCATION LAST NIGHT TO GET TO WORK AND SURPRISE I WAS CHARGED 150 NOT ONCE BUT TWICE FOR “SMOKING IN THE ROOM” IN REALITY I THREW A PACK OF CIGARETTES IN THE GARBAGE WHERE THEY SHOULD GO WHEN EMPTY AND THAT THEIR IDEA OF SOME ONE SMOKING IN ROOM . I WASN’T SMOKING IN THE ROOM AND WHEN I WENT TO QUESTION ALL THIS THE MANAGER TAMMY SHE WAS RUDE DIDN’T WANNA EVEN HEAR ME OUT AND THREATENED TO CALL THE POLICE ON ME SHE HAD NOT A CARE IN THE WORLD THAT I HAD A PROBLEM WITH THIS SHE SAID SHE HAD PROOF I WAS SMOKING AND WHEN I ASKED FOR IT SHE SHOWS ME A PICTURE OF A PACK OF CIGARETTES IN THE GARBAGE CAN. THIS IS NOT FAIR NOR IS IT RIGHT THAT HER RESPONSE TO ME IS TOO BAD SHOULDN’T HAVE THROWN THE PACK AWAY THEN. SHE ALSO TOLD ME IF I HAVE A PROBLEM TO CALL THE OWNER ON FRIDAY THAT HE IS OFF TODAY NOT FOR NOTHING WHEN YOUR BUSINESS NEIGHBOR HAS A PROBLEM AND PUTS 5 OR MORE EMPLOYEES IN A ROOM OVER NIGHT SEVERAL TIMES A WEEK MAYBE HE OR SHE SHOULD BE TREATED DIFFERENTLY ID LIKE TO BE CONTACTED ABOUT THIS I FEEL CHEATED AND NOW THAT I LOOK AT MY CREDIT CARDS THERE ARE OTHER CHARGES ID LIKE TO BE TAKEN OFF THAT WERE PLACED WRONGFULLY

  3. I would like to leave a message for Mr. Steve Joyce and inform him that compassion and consideration is alive and well in Colby KS. Our son Graydon became stranded in Colby KS trying to make it home for Thanksgiving to Lexington KY from Portland OR. His 1986 van threw a driveshaft on the 70 interstate near Colby KS. He was out of money , out of luck and stranded with 3 cats he loves dearly. Comfort Inn in Colby was the only motel willing to accommodate him and his beloved pets. He was tired cold and hungry. This was a great relief to his mother and I . He was stranded for over 2_weeks waiting on parts to his van. The motel staff brought him Thanksgiving dinner and checked in on him and his cats.
    They kept us informed of his well being as he,has a chronic medical condition as well. Since I was paying the bill …they honored a military discount being I am retired mi!itary. There are too many names to mention, (Connie front desk is the one I spoke to most often) however, everyone at the Colby KS Comfort Inn should be recognized for their service that went above and beyond the normal call of duty. Without the compassion of the Colby Comfort Inn. Our son only option was to sleep in a stranded van in freezing weather. Our heartfelt thanks go out to the Colby KS Comfort Inn staff.
