Atlantic Highlands Fireman’s Fair June 29-July 3, 2010


Deck the DocksThe 2010 Atlantic Highlands Fireman’s Fair and Independence Week Celebration will be June 29 through July 3rd from 6:00pm to 11:00pm. The very popular fireworks display will be held on Friday, July 2, 2010 with a rain date of Saturday July 3rd.

During the five-night fair, expect great live musical entertainment. The nightly line-up includes rock and roll, classic rock, and oldies. “Pay One Price Nights” are available every evening except Fireworks Night July 2. Fair goers can purchase a bracelet for one price and ride all of the rides all night. Super Raffle Tickets may be purchased in advance of the fair. Last year over $7,000 was awarded to three winners. There are also 12 games of chance and over 14 amusement rides.

The Deck the Dock Boat competition continues in its fifth year thanks to the Atlantic Highlands Harbor Commission, the competition sponsor. Prizes include cash prizes and a challenge trophy. This years theme is “Boats at Work“, a tribute to the new Atlantic Highlands fireboat, Marine 85. Winners will be announced at 11:00pm on Saturday, July 3rd. Information on the competition is available at the Harbor Office.

The food court offers several vendors serving up seafood, barbecue, sausages, funnel cakes, and much more. The Fire Department will cook hamburgers and hot dogs. Bring the whole family to the fair and enjoy good food and drink, play games and enjoy thrilling rides, watch fireworks and see all of the decorated boats.
